ABOUT GOTG

Dear Friends,

GOTG was started in January, 2010 and we kicked off our first meet in April, 2010 as a way for women (and men too) to get out and hit the streets. 

Everyone has a story...here's mine:

I'm a 38 year old wife and mother of three small children.  My life is crazy, hectic and nuts to say the least.  In 1982, when I was nine years old, I was walking down Birch Street in Pembroke, MA with my six year old sister Heather.  Heather and I were selling Camp Fire Girl items when we were run down by a 17 year old underage drunk driver.  As a result of that crash, Heather was killed and I suffered severe left leg and head trauma.  I still suffer from serious reprocussions with the head injury I incurred by the CRASH. 

But, I can say that because of my loving husband,  our awesome children, my unbelievable parents, and our families, I'm a happy, healthy member of GOTG.

Therefore, regardless of your busy schedule or athletic ability there will always be a place for YOU on the GOTG team.
